Hi all! So I am having difficulties changing the default settings on a RM Young 81000 model 3d Sonic. We are able to connect to a terminal program, and are able to get readings, however hitting the esc key three times fails to bring up the command menu. We have attempred connection via a Serial RS232 to usb, as well as stripping and connectinig an RS 232 (DB9) M-F wire. We have also used multiple terminal programs (TeraTerm, PuTTY, HyperTerm) to no avail. Any help is much appreciated.
I came across the same issue too. I have disconnected the sensor from the power and restarted the pc and it worked for me.
