CFM100 not writing after OS upgrade

I updated the OS on a CR1000 from v21 to 31.08. When powering up, the attached CFM100 writes data for a minute or two but then stops. I've tried restarting/reformating the (2GB) card several times but with the same issue. Suggestions?

CR1000 SN: 32599

CFM100 SN: 8643

Also, is the card purchased from Campbell Scientific or a third party?
