problems with terminal emulator talk through

tjwilli_58 Sep 30, 2016 01:58 PM

I'm having a problem using the datalogger Terminal Emualtor Serial Talk Through (P) mode. (CR1000 and CR3000).  I get the "CR1000>" prompt with no problem, and have no issues with Comms Watch (W command).  However, when try option P on the same COM port, I get a response that the port is opening, but when I try to send a command to the device, nothing happens.  Hitting ESC a few times brings me back out.

If I connect to the datalogger with a RS-232 cable, I can do both P and W, but not using the Terminal Emulator on PC200W, or from LoggerNet Connect.  I'd like to be able to do this remotely. It would save a 75-mile drive to the devices.

Thanks for any help.

Is this solved? I have the same issue - W mode works for me, but P mode was stuck after I chose the port.
