VPN connection - loggernet and CR1000

cyril Jul 17, 2013 08:44 AM

Hi,
so I need to create a VPN connection between the server(loggernet) and the Datalogger CR1000, which will be connected in different networks - domains from server(loggernet).
I have no experience to create VPN on datalogger cr1000.
Please help me resolve this issue.
Thanks!

I have no experiences with Virtual private network but you can try the Datalogger CR1000 connect to VPN Router.
VPN routers offer you the ability to share your VPN connection. Router you set as VPN and create VPN tunel on server where is install Logernet.

What do you think?

The logger does not support any VPNs in its own right. Your problem though seems to be in understanding how to route the traffic between different IP networks which is not something that the logger or loggernet can implement or control.

This is something that has to be setup in the routers that are used in the different networks. I suggest you talk to your local network administrator or a network specialist to see how to configure the routing in your network hardware.
