CR1000x and GPRS modem

Hordeman Jul 21, 2025 11:42 AM

Hello.

I have a modem with default settings. Modem is based on Telit GL868-DUAL V3 module

AT+IPR=9600
ATS0=1
AT&C1
AT&D0
AT+CBST=71,0,1
ATE0
AT&K0
AT&W

CR1000xe is configured to PPP via RS232 port.

user and password are empty

PPP Dial -> AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet";ATD*99***1#

PPP Dial Response -> CONNECT

Logger doesn't send AT commands to initialize connection, instead it sends

14:24:02.784 T A
14:24:03.162 T A
14:24:06.162 T A
14:24:15.762 T A
14:24:18.762 T A
14:24:21.762 T A
14:24:24.762 T A
14:24:27.762 T A
14:24:30.762 T A
14:24:34.962 T +++
14:24:36.162 T ATH
14:24:36.182 R
14:24:36.182 R OK

PPP Network Status just cycles through

Dialing START -> Dialing Failed

OS version is 8.2.1

Why logger doesn’t send AT+CGDCONT and ATD commans? It is as if it doesn’t respect PPP dial settings.

EDIT:  logger is CR1000Xe
