Dear All ,
I am trying to utilize the "ethernet" abilities of my CR1000
I am trying to setup the PPP via serial but I seem to end up empty.
Besides RX,TX,GND what else is needed on my NULL modem? to establish a connection.
I got this error:
Serial line is looped back.
sent [LCP TermReq id=0x5 "Loopback detected"]
rcvd [LCP TermReq id=0x5 "Loopback detected"]
Thanks
After Finding out that the C/O port was not wired as normal serial port ,
I tried all other ports with any USB to serial or RS232
Never managed to establish a PPP connection.
IS there a way to get it done ? or I need to invest in a NL ethernet conector ?
Lastly the webpage the device provides can it export the data somehow ? or this is also jumping though hoops ?
Thank you in avdnace
You should check the modem NULL cable's connection and ensure RX, TX, and GND are connected correctly. The "Loopback detected" error can be caused by misconfiguration or incorrect connection. Check the baud rate, use a terminal program to test, and refer to the CR1000 documentation for specific instructions.
