I am working on a program for structural testing that is using a Volt 116 for linear potentiometers and a VWire 305 for vibrating wire guages. I am having trouble figuring out the calibration for both the Volt 116 and VWire 305 when coding a program for both of them to run together with the VWire using a 20hz mainscan and the Volt 116 using a 1hz SlowSequence scan.
When in shortcut, I can get the potentiometers and load cell to calibrate well, however, in the combined program, it is not working so I was hoping I could rebuild the program in shortcut, but I cannot find the Granite VWire 305 device in the shortcut devices menu. Am I missing something here, or is it just no compatible?
The VWire 305 units are not supported in ShortCut.
You will need to develop this in CRBasic. There are some example programs that you can download from here :-
