I have a CR300 datalogger and use an 03002 wind speed and direction sensor. Could I ask how I use WindVector to calculate the average wind speed and direction over the preceeding 10 minutes? I recognise the issue in averaging the direction due its cyclic functionality
All you need to do is use the WindVector instruction in a data table that has a 10 minute data interval. WindVector takes on the interval of the table.
Many thanks, I'm new to this. I guess the Sample utility gives an instantaneous reading, independent of the data interval?
Yes, a Sample is the last reading within that time interval.
