Overview

The 32312 is a replacement dust filter for the VU01-L ventilation unit or the CVF4-L ventilation unit. The 32312 does not come with a filter retainer.

Dust filters have to be replaced manually. Filters may be re-used several times after they have been cleaned with water and soap. Campbell Scientific offers the pack of five replacement dust filters as an option. The replacement interval depends on local conditions and may vary from one week to six months.

Detailed Description

To replace the dust filter:

  1. Power off the ventilation unit by disconnecting the VU01 connector.
  2. Insert the tip of a flat screwdriver in the designated slot of the front side the filter retainer.
  3. Turn the screwdriver 90° to detach the filter retainer from the finger guard.
  4. Replace the used filter cloth with a fresh filter (spare part VU01F).
  5. Slide the filter retainer under the ventilation unit.
  6. Lift and click the filter retainer in place.
