Can LoggerNet be programmed so that each month of data is automatically stored in a new file?

LoggerNet cannot do this directly via scheduled data collection, but there are a few ways to accomplish this:

  1. Use the LoggerNet Split application to parse the LoggerNet DAT file into a monthly summary file. Split can be triggered manually or set up as a calendar-based scheduled task in the Task Master that runs on the Last day of every month.
  2. Set up the data logger as a different data logger in the LoggerNet network map, and then set up a calendar-based scheduled task in the Task Master to collect data on the Last day of every month.
  3. To store data in a database, and manually query the data on a monthly basis, use LNDB (LoggerNet Database Software).
