The SC-IRDA is an infrared device that allows a PDA handheld to communicate with a data logger without opening the enclosure door. Typically this interface is placed in a compression fitting that has been added to the side of an enclosure. The SC-IRDA infrared sensor is sealed against moisture allowing it to withstand exposure to rain and snow.
