About Air Temperature & Relative Humidity

Campbell Scientific data loggers are capable of measuring most commercially available air temperature sensors. Thermistors, thermocouples, and RTDs are available as standard sensor models.

Air Temp & Relative Humidity sensors are two separate sensors packaged in the same sensor housing. Both probes are manufactured by Vaisala. The HMP45C is recommended in humid areas or applications when accurate measurements of RH (especially above the 90% RH level) are important.

Solar radiation shields are required if the probes will be exposed to sunlight.
