About Ethernet
Our ethernet options allow any Campbell Scientific data logger with an RS-232 or CS I/O port to communicate with a computer using TCP/IP. The local network or dedicated internet connection can also be accessed in combination with short haul or RF peripherals. The communication rate is dependent on the data logger; for example, the CR5000 can communicate at rates up to 115,200 bps.
